Trenawin Lanikai (known as Lannie) is a handsome, small warmblood horse suitable for breeding Sports Ponies, small Show Hunters, Show Cobs and small Eventers.

Lannie has superb paces which he passes on to his children. Together with his excellent, trainable temperament he is proven sire of dressage ponies. He has won every single dressage test he has competed in.

Sire:

Trenawin Lydian was a grade A show jumper. His sire was Lenard who gave rise to many successful show hunters and sports horses. Lydian’s dam, Lydia (x Langraf 1), was many times a county show champion show hunter in hand and as a broodmare. The great Landgraf 1 needs no introduction. He was a world famous show jumper and sire of many champions.

Dam:

Durfee Aloha, a Danish Warmblood from Hanovarian and TB lines.

Damsire:

Atlantus, a foundation stallion for the BWBS, is by Galanthus an international show jumper and graded Danish stallion. Atlantus himself sired many successful competition horses including advanced dressage horses, graded stallions, Grade A show jumpers and advanced eventers.

Performance

Champion Hunter pony at 2005 New Forest Show

Numerous championships at County level as a hunter pony stallion. Numerous wins as a sports horse at County Level.

Numerous wins dressage and show jumping. Has also evented successfully and hunted with the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale. Progeny Class 2nd at Royal Cornwall County show

At his SPSS grading in 2004, the judge's comments included:

Jumping:	"..good attitude. Shows scope with tidy hind legs"
Movement:	"..loose supple movement with good hind leg action"
Temperament:	"..good attitude throughout"

Offspring/Breeding Advice

Trenawin Lanikai is attracting a number of 15.2hh TB mares in order to produce small show hunters.

His progeny are winning Championships for small hunter, hunter pony and sports horse classes. They have fabulous temperaments, lovely confirmation and floating paces.

Loot has won four Reserve Championships at County level as a sports horse.

Trenawin Leadette (Lannie's 'Aunty') won numerous Small Hunter Broodmare classes at County Level and was reserve Champion Cuddy Supreme H.O.Y.S. 2006. She also qualified in 2007
