Sire:

SOS Kantje’s Unicolor, a palomino Nederlands New Forest Pony competed successfully in dressage, WHP, SHP and Sports Pony classes.  He also hunted regularly with a child rider. SOS Kantje's Unicolor was awarded the SPSS Dancer Medal in 2010 for excellence in breeding.  In September 2014, Unicolor was selected for the British Dressage Pony Riders Progress Squad with his young rider, Poppy Padley.

SOS Kantje’s Unicolor's sire, Berkhof’s Higgledy Piggledy, was born in 1981 and was a 1.47m palomino Nederlands New Forest Pony (NNFP) with good movement who competed at Z-level in jumping and M-level in dressage. He was licensed by the NNFPS in 1984 and passed his performance test in 1986 - gaining good scores for Characteter (9) and Temperament/Obedience, Ridden Jumping and “Terreinrit” (all 8s). A 1998 review of his progeny by the NNFPS assessed 3 foals, 6 yearlings, 3 2-yr-olds and 3- 3-yr-olds and having assessed the dam’s as having “moderate to sufficient” quality, his progeny were described as “beautiful types with uniform size”, with good muscle & confirmation and trots that were “strong and easy”, with no differences between the yearlings to 3 yr olds.

SOS Kantje’s Unicolor's dam, Kantje's Odessa, was awarded the Ster predicate as was her dam, Kantje's Maradonie.  Her sire was Watershof Pretendent won his performance test at 4 years old and stood in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. As well as being a capable jumper himself, Pretendent produced some excellent sport ponies, such as the international M.V. Augusta and Golden Valley (for Holland), Kantje’s Norman and Franklin (for Belgium), Unicom (for Italy) and Jolly Sting.

Pretendent's most famous offspring are the successful breeding stallion, Kantje’s Ronaldo (sire of European Pony Jumping Team Gold medallist Karwin and 10 other European Pony Competitors) and the European Pony Jumping Champion Mister Amontilano (formerly Léon, then Reach Léon).  Mister Amontilano won Team Gold and Individual Silver medals in 2003 then went one better the following year winning both Team and Individual Gold medals.

Dam:

Trewithian Campion is a British Riding Pony and full sister to Trewithian Bracken, who was part of the Silver Medal Winning British Team at the 2009 Pony European Eventing Championships in Moorsele, Belgium as well as other succeful eventing ponies.  Trewithian Campion is also the dam of SOS Legally Blonde, who competed at BE90 as a 5 year old.   Campion's dam is the Welsh Sec B x Anglo Arab mare Trewithian Pussywillow.

Damsire:

SPSS Elite graded Connemara Ashfield Mactalla

Bred in Eire by Mr J Jones, Ashfield MacTalla (known as "Mac") was been based with Miss Sue Rowe of Trewithian Stud in Cornwall for many years.  Ashfield MacTalla sired many pure bred Connemaras and part breds that are doing well in the show ring, eventing and show jumping.   In 2009, Mac's 8 year old son, Trewithian Bracken, was part of the Silver Medal Winning British Team at the Pony European Eventing Championships in Moorsele, Belgium.  As a result of this, Mac was awarded the prestigious, SPSS sponsored, British Breeding Award for the Top Sire of Performance Ponies at the 2010 British Breeding Dinner.  Ashfield MacTalla was graded into the SPSS Studbook in October 2009 and, as the sire of an International event pony, he was awarded the accolade of 'Elite' to the delight of his owner.  Bracken’s full sister, Trewithian Celandine, was successful at BE100 and full brother, Trewuthian Hawkeweed was 19th in the Mitsubishi Motors Cup (aka Badminton Grassroots) at BE100 level in 2019.
