Due to the unforeseen closure of the venue we had originally booked resulting in our having to change venue at short notice, we regret that it is not possible this year to run our traditional In-Hand Show alongside the Gradings. However, we are delighted that the SPSS In-Hand Premium Show 2011 will run as part of the Warmblood Breeders Studbook UK (WBS-UK) Mare Grading and Show Weekend at the prestigious Hartpury College, Gloucestershire. The SPSS is grateful to the WBS-UK for this fantastic opportunity.
The judges will be SPSS Chair, Celia Clarke, and Frenk Jespers. Frenk Jespers was a member of the KWPN Stallion Selection Committee for 9 years, during which time he was also on the Dutch selection committee for the World Young Horse Breeding Championships as well as being one of the founders and a judge at the PAVO Cup (a competition for 4 & 5 year old dressage horses).
The 2011 Mare and Stallion Gradings will take place on 1st October at Bury Farm Equestrian Centre, Mill Road Slapton Bucks LU7 9BT. Further details here. |
Spectators are very welcome; there will be a free programme with details of the ponies and commentary - plus a chance to purchase SPSS merchandise.
Open to SPSS members and non-members with SPSS registered and unregistered ponies or small horses.
