Sire:  Tullibardine Turbo Charge was a frequent winner in the show ring, whose pedigree goes back to the legendary Coed Coch Madog, through his grandsons Coed Coch Saled and Coed Coch Asa.

Dam: Rushiefauld Bethaney is a successful competition & Pony Club pony who has won County level lead rein and also won and been placed in many classes and Championships in-hand. She is also the dam of Rushiefauld Gideon who has been a HOYS and Olympia finalist. As well as being graded as a Main Studbook mare by the SSH, Bethaney was also awarded their “ster” predicate and the judges commented on her exceptional movement, particularly in trot.

Damsire: Although from the same stud as Havanna’s sire, his damsire, Tullibardine Bonheddwr, who was a multiple Champion in-hand, has at least 3 generations of distinct pedigree, so is free from in/line-breeding.

Performance

Highest scoring stallion over all entrants (including horses) in dressage and jumping at the 2007 Scottish Sport Horse (SSH) grading. Some of Havanna successes have been: never out of top 3 in any British Dressage classes he’s been in; has won at British Showjumping (BS) and is BS assessed; won & placed in working hunter classes including at the Blair International working hunter finals; qualified Pony Club Novice dressage scoring over 75%; member of Pony Club Interbranch teams. In 2017, he is expected to be competing in BS classes with a new, 8 year old, rider.

Offspring/Breeding Advice

A truly versatile little stallion, Havanna has been used on a variety of mares from miniature spotted to 16.2hh TB eventers & showjumping mares. His stock are now out competing in Pony Club teams, BS and British Eventing as well as the show ring.

He has had 11 youngstock assessed by the SSH; 9 gained 1st Premiums and the other 2 got high 2nd Premiums. 2 mares went gone on to receive the SSH lifetime award of “ster”. Scholland Teddy Bear and Scholland Black Magic are members of pony club teams (dressage and jumping) and Black Magic was Loose Jumping Champion as a 3 yr old and was Reserve Champion at her SPSS grading in 2016. In 2012, a 3 yr old (out of a TB x Welsh dam) won the sport pony class at Great Yorkshire show 2012 and a 3 year old filly in Australia won a showing bronze medal.
