Wolken Von Blitz, the 2018 SPSS Stallion Grading Supreme Champion, sadly died in Autumn 2019 aged only four. He did stand at stud in 2019 and his only foals will be born in 2020. |
Origins |
|
Sire: Stanley Grange Regal Heights is a prolific producer of showing champions, eg in 2017, 5 of his offspring qualified for HOYS. He is also proving himself as a sire of Sports Pony Champions and was named NPS Young Stallion of the Year in 2015. His sire, Willowcroft Regal Bronze, is a successful show pony in his own right having qualified for HOYS, and he has sired a number of Championship winners who have also qualified for HOYS. His dam produced a number of very successful show horses.
Dam: His dam,
Wolkenliebe competed successfully at dressage before retiring to stud.
Her full sister, Waicucci is also a succesful dressage horse and has
competed and won at "M" level and has won over 3,000 euros.
Her damsire
is the famous Anglo-Arab Matcho AA who was particularly known as a
refinement stallion and an excellent mare producer, with his offspring
having very good temperaments & rideability, with good gaits &
show-jumping talent. Wolkenliebe’s damline also does not disappoint. She
descends from a long list of State Premium mares, many licensed
stallions and strong sporting achievements. It has produced the
international 1m60 showjumpers Westminster, Carpalo and Armani and a
number of 1m30 plus horses. Damsire: Wolkentanz was the Champion Stallion at the Verden licensing in 1993 & runner up in his stallion performance test. In 2001 he produced both the champion colt & filly at the German Foal Championships with both receiving a perfect 10 for gaits. He produced 26 Licensed Stallions and 18 State Premium mares & his progeny have won over 500k euros. His sire, the legendary Weltmeyer is said to “almost single handedly reshaped the Hanoverian breed” and was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1998. His bloodlines whether through his 100+ licensed sons or many daughters appears in many of the top level international dressage Hanoverians today. |

Offspring/Breeding Advice | |
Wolken Von Blitz MPS was an exciting young stallion combining the very best of breeding and vast amounts of talent to excel in any discipline. He had a willing nature and perfect temperament making him the ultimate sports pony stallion. He had an uphill frame with a well set on neck, a big walk with good over track, his trot and canter are uphill, elastic and an ability to sit on his hind quarters. Over a fence he is careful and makes a perfect bascule. He adds to the mix endless amounts of scope.
2019 was his only season at stud. |

Words of Hope MPS This jet black filly’s stable name of Hope is both poignant and appropriate as her home-bred sire sadly died from grass sickness last year aged only 4 and with just two mares in foal. Hope, who like her sire was bred by Emily Cuthill, is just one day old in the photo and is out of Walinka (Deniro x Weingau) who has previously had an Elite Auction foal by Emily’s other stallion.
