Origins |
|
Sire: His purebred Arab sire, AH Cheshmak is by the famous black Arab stallion R Ali Bey (a grandson of Ali Jammal) who is perhaps one of the most well-known black Arabian stallions in the world and who helped to strengthen the reputation of his father, Magic Dream, as one of the most important stallions of the moment in the United States of America. In addition, R Ali Bey's mother Bey Affair is the daughter of legendary Bey Shah.
AH Cheshmak’s dam, Camaya (by Dream Quest), was Champion of Mares in the morphologic contest ECAHO-B of Arabes & Co 2006 for her Spanish owners, Complutum Arabians. Camaya achieved two 19s in Type, three 19s in Head and Neck plus four 18s for a total of 268 points, one of the highest of the whole contest. At Arabica International 2008 in Frankfurt Germany, she obtained eight 19s, four in Type and four in Head and Neck to place second in a very competitive international class.
Dam: Although Treenhill Aristole’s dam, Treenhilshillelagh, didn't race herself, she has influential and strong winning TB bloodlines in both flat and over jumps with direct sire lines to the Godolphin Arabian and Darley Arabian. Her damsire, Undulate, had 47 foals of racing age (at Jan 2018), 18 of which have started a race and 4 of them were winners. Treenhilshillelagh's pedigree is clear of inbreeding for 4 generations and other famous stallions in her pedigree are Sheshoon, Exbury, Vaguely Noble & Wollow who between them have won the Observer Gold Cup, Prix de Chantilly, Prix de Guiche, Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, Prix De L’Hive & Ascot Gold Cup proving both stamina & speed is strong within her bloodline.
Damsire: The stallion Afzal was “G1 Winner along with 3 other wins”, his sire Sassafras was “winner of Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Prix du Jockey Club, Prix Royal-Oak. Of Afzal's 211 foals of racing age (as at Jan 2018), 45% have started a race, 13% have won and, overall, they have earned in excess of 1 million dollars. |
