Sire: alevan Mystic Pride has been used as a great producer of ponies that are hugely successful in the show ring. He holds the most sought after lines including not only the World famous Downland Chevalier, but also Downland Mohawk & Downland Romance, the Royal Welsh Champion Solway Master Bronze, Keston Royal Occasion (who is viewed as one of the very best and was exported to Australia) and the phenomenal Rotherwood Bloodlines.
Dam: Bejowans Sunrise, who was unfortunately lost in 2016, was herself a successful Lead Rein pony both qualifying and being placed at The Royal International and numerous BSPS Championships before becoming a successful broodmare. Her bloodlines also speak for themselves, she holds the Bunbury lines which are prolific ridden ponies, alongside the world famous Revel and Kirby Cane lines.
Damsire: Ernford Bonanza also has the most fabulous bloodlines including Downland, Revel, Kirby Cane & Synod. |

Offspring/Breeding Advice | |
Jim is consistently producing top class sports ponies from a range of mares with his progeny to date all being outstanding in conformation, movement and sports type as well as all being palomino, buckskin or smokey black.
His oldest, born in 2012, is Strictly Dun Dancing who is out of a part-bred Fell mare and, as a foal, was awarded an ELITE (Eventing) BEF Futurity Premium, was Reserve Champion Part-bred Welsh & Reserve Champion Show Hunter at the British National Foal of the Year Show, won and was Champion again as a yearling & 3 year old. She graded with the SPSS and is now being produced as an Eventing pony. Her full sister, born in 2015, was awarded a Futurity Higher First Premium as a foal.
In 2016, 4 of his progeny were presented at SPSS evaluations and both foals and one of the yearlings were awarded GOLD Premiums and the other yearling got a Premium to add to the Premium achieved as a foal. Finally, one of the foals (out of a PB Arab mare) was the 2016 SPSS Reserve Supreme Youngstock Champion. The other Gold Premium youngstock were out of a German Riding pony and a Belgium Warmblood.
In 2017, the 2 year old colt, Sugarhouse Targaryen (out of a Belgium Warmblood mare by Nagano) graded with the SPSS and was the Central Reserve Champion Stallion. In 2018, Sugarhouse Targaryen was awarded a Futurity Gold Premium as a 3 year old then in 2019 he was again awarded a Gold Premium at a Bridge pre-assessment day, which qualified him for the 2019 Equine Bridge assessment weekend.
Also in 2019, colt foal Myspires Triple Gold gained a Futurity Gold Premium. |
